WPPA 7th Annual Clinic Now A Memory!

The 7th Annual WPPPA Clinic, held at the EAA Airventure museum on March 22 is now just a pleasant memory.

More than 80 participants attended the seminar, which featured EAA's own Paul Poberezny.

The WPPA would like to thank all sponsors, vendors, speakers, those who donated time and prizes and, most of all, the attendees.

Now, our attention turns to one of the most popular and well-attended fly-ins for powered parachutes in the country; WPPA's 7th Annual Fly-In, which is held at Mark's Park and Airfield in New London.

This year, the event will be held from June 19th through the 22nd.

Plans are already underway for the event, so please mark your calendars and join the fun!

This one is still up. Walt McKenzie in his fantastic flying machine! (don't try this at home!) See it here You should have a high speed connection for best viewing pleasure!

If you have a two-seat PPC, you will need to have it N-numbered by January 31st, 2008. If you miss this date, you will end up with a pretty cool lawn ornament! EAA has a nice kit that tells you how and gives you the stick-ons as well.
Ultralight Website Of The Week!
An interesting website for trikers and others interested in the sport can be found at trike pilot social.com. Find it HERE.
Tip Of The Week!
Live in a cold climate this time of year? If you have not winterized your engine, it's a good idea to go out and start your engine, and run it for awhile. Be sure to take it up to the proper operating temperature before gonig full throttle.
Want to be a PPC Sport Pilot?
It's now after January 31, 2008 and BFIs are no longer able to train you for the Sport Pilot classification. You will need to go to a Spor Pilot CFI with a PPC rating. A list can be found at EAA Sport Pilot site, www.sportpilot.org.
